Simple practices for parents and children to pause, breathe, and connect together.
Mindfulness for Families
Mindfulness made simple — for both little ones and grown-ups.

Mindfulness isn’t just for grown-ups — it’s a gift we can share with our children every day. By slowing down and noticing our breath, our bodies, and the world around us, families can create calm moments even in busy days. These practices don’t need special tools or long lessons — just a little time, presence, and curiosity.
Here are a few simple activities you can try today with your child to bring more peace, playfulness, and connection into your everyday routines.
Mindfulness Practices
Life can feel busy, but mindfulness gives families a chance to slow down and reconnect. These practices are designed to be playful, simple, and meaningful — helping children build lifelong tools for calm and kindness, while giving parents space to breathe, too.

Bubble Breaths
Imagine blowing bubbles, releasing worries with each exhale.
Put your hands on your tummy, breathe in to make it “grow,” and breathe out to let it “float.”
Balloon Belly
Feather Breath
Pretend you’re blowing a feather up — slow and steady so it doesn’t fall.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Little Seeds of Mindfulness all about?
Little Seeds of Mindfulness is a collection of gentle stories and activities that help children understand emotions, practice calm, and grow kindness — one mindful moment at a time.
Through relatable animal and child characters, the books invite kids to pause, breathe, notice, and connect — with themselves, others, and the world around them.
What age group are these books for?
Our books are thoughtfully created for two age groups:
Ages 2–6: simple stories with cozy illustrations and playful mindfulness practices.
Ages 6–9: deeper reflections and creative exercises that nurture emotional awareness and self-discovery.
Each collection grows with the child — from noticing big feelings to exploring thoughts, calm, and compassion.
What is mindfulness for children?
Mindfulness means noticing what’s happening right now — inside and around us — with kindness and curiosity.
For children, this might look like:
🌼 Taking a slow breath,
👂 Listening carefully to a sound,
💛 Naming a feeling, or
🌈 Watching a thought float by like a cloud.
It’s not about sitting still for long — it’s about helping kids discover calm and awareness in everyday moments.
How can mindfulness help my child?
Mindfulness helps children:
Understand and name their emotions
Build focus and patience
Develop empathy and kindness
Feel calm and grounded during stress
Build confidence and self-awareness
Over time, these small seeds of awareness grow into lifelong tools for emotional well-being and resilience.
How do I start mindfulness with my child?
Start simple — one small, playful moment at a time.
You can:
Read a mindful story together before bed
Take a few calm breaths with your child in the morning
Notice colors, sounds, or sensations during a walk
Try one of the activities from our books or Creative Corner printables
Children learn mindfulness best when it’s woven gently into daily life — not as a task, but as a shared moment.
Can mindfulness help with big feelings or worries?
Yes — mindfulness gives children tools to pause, notice, and respond rather than react.
When a child feels angry, sad, or worried, mindfulness helps them:
1️⃣ Name the feeling
2️⃣ Breathe or move gently
3️⃣ Feel calmer and more in control
Our Emotions & Feelings collection is a wonderful place to begin.
How often should we practice mindfulness?
There’s no set rule — even a few mindful minutes can make a difference.
Children benefit most when mindfulness becomes part of their daily rhythm — a small pause in the morning, a breath before bedtime, or a moment of gratitude at dinner.
When are the books going to be published?
There will be soon 15 books from the Emotions & Feelings collection for ages 2-6 that will be published between end of October 2025 to early November 2025.
